Crowdsourcing thrives on volunteers. ETH-Bibliothek's new blog Crowdsourcing is geared towards these users, who are indispensable in describing photos from ETH-Bibliothek's Image Archive.
The blog comprises two main categories:
• Every week, in the category "Do you know more?" we present new images that need identifying.
• "You knew more!" contains the nicest images that have been identified and the trickiest puzzles. We also give our readers weekly updates here.
n additional categories, we publish statistics, other crowdsourcing projects, press reviews and suggestions for further reading. This background information also makes the blog interesting for experts from libraries, archives and museums.
